On Thursday, November 2nd, the Institut de l’énergie Trottier will host a public seminar on transportation and climate policy, in collaboration with the Consulate of the United States in Montreal, the Department of Political Science of the Université de Montréal and the Institut Québécois du carbone.
Organized as part of the JCCTRP workshop, the seminar will take place at the Lassonde Pavilion of Polytechnique Montréal from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Room M-1410 .
Experts from Quebec, California, Ontario and Vermont will present their respective jurisdictions’ transportation and climate efforts, including transportation policies, regulations, and cap-and-trade systems which link three of these jurisdictions.
The public seminar will be presented in English.
It will be followed by a cocktail from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
