The Fourth Annual Trottier Symposium on Sustainable Engineering, Energy and Design will be held at Polytechnique Montréal, on April 11th and 12th, 2017.
The 2017 symposium will address energy transition in the transport sector and the challenges it faces, by exploring a number of possible futures, knowing that many upcoming technologies make a transition to a low-carbon society more likely each day. The introduction of new, disruptive technologies is also the occasion to re-evaluate our portfolio of transit tools and, by the same occasion, to revisit the goals of transportation, the importance of urban design, and the roles that public and private sector can play.
Trottier Symposiums are designed to reach a broad range of audiences including academic, governmental and private sectors as well as general public. This widely attended event contributes to on-going discussions that have technical and public policy relevance. These symposiums consist of two public events in the evening and workshops during the day.
